A few things to help you feel right at home in the desert.

The October 2026 forecast for Mayer, AZ (where Arcosanti is based) shows daily high temperatures ranging from 64° to 82°, with overnight lows between 33° and 54°. The average high for October is 73° with an average low of 46°. Note: During FORM 2024, we experienced a record heatwave in early October. Please be prepared for highs into the 90s in case we see another heatwave this year.

What to pack:

• Valid government-issued ID
• Debit/Credit Card (FORM is cashless)
• Tent & tent stakes (and/or car connector for Car Camping)
• Sleeping pad, cot, or air mattress
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow & blanket
• Travel-size toiletries
• Beach/bath/shower towels
• Flashlight, lantern, or headlamp
• Trash bag for your campsite
• Sun protection & a wide-brimmed hat
• Warm & cold weather clothing (shorts, pants, sweatshirt, tank top, etc.), plus gloves & hand warmers
• Swimsuit
• Multi-purpose shoes — sneakers, sandals, and shower shoes
• Poncho/Umbrella in case it rains
• Insect repellant
• Reusable water bottle
• Portable device charger
• Camera & a medium-sized backpack for hiking
• Yoga mat

• Glass items
• Flammable items / fireworks / open-flame cooking equipment (grills, camp stoves) / campfires
• Portable grills/bbqs
• Animals or pets
• Illegal substances
• Drones
• Bicycles/skateboards
• Totems/Flag Poles
• Hula Hoops, Glow Sticks, Rave Gear (only permitted in the Campgrounds)
• Generators
