Car Camping is entirely new for 2026! Drive up, park, and set up camp right next to your vehicle — all on the main level of Arcosanti.
Campsite footprint: 20ft x 20ft, including your vehicle.
A heads up, since we want you to be comfortable: this is high desert, so expect dirt and some rugged terrain. Our grounds crew is grading the area and clearing boulders ahead of the event, but a sleeping pad, cot, or air mattress will make all the difference if you’re tent camping on the ground. It's part of what makes camping here feel like camping in the desert — come prepared and you'll sleep just fine! See the Packing page for our full recommended gear list.
Big or small, your crew is welcome — there's no limit on group size. Saving campsites for others who arrive later isn't permitted, so if you want to camp next to your friends, plan to arrive together.
Campfires are strictly prohibited at Arcosanti. Separately, no open flame cooking of any kind is permitted onsite — no propane grills, no camp stoves with an open flame. Electric appliances powered by your own vehicle are totally fine. It's a small ask that helps us keep everyone safe out here in the desert.

Complimentary hot showers are available in the campgrounds Friday 4:00 PM -10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Just keep it quick out of respect for fellow campers, and stick to biodegradable products. Don't forget a towel!
Restrooms and drinking water stations are available both in the campgrounds and near the stages, so you're never far from either.
Enjoy breakfast starting at 8am and late-night meals until 2am, served up by hand-picked Arizona food trucks right in the campground.
Bagged ice will be available for purchase in the campgrounds. Hours will be posted on site for the whole weekend.
